4 Benefits of a Mobile Notary
Originally posted 8/26/22
I am old enough to remember that when I wanted to buy something or needed a service, I had to go to that store or service provider. I wasn’t raised in the age of convenience. To avoid shopping, I could order clothing from a catalog. That was as good as it got when it came to convenience. Today, we live in an era of ease. You think of it; you want it, it's as easy as a click away on your phone, and it will arrive on your doorstep in 1-2 business days or less. As a mobile notary, the entire structure of my business is based on this idea. Today I want to share with you the 4 benefits, some of which are obvious and some that are not, of a Mobile Notary. So, let's get into it.
Convenience.
This is the number one benefit. Hiring a mobile notary means you don’t have to visit them or their office. The biggest benefit of the notary being mobile is- well, they come to you. It allows you to prioritize your time and day by calling a service like this. It will probably cost a few dollars more than going to a notary, but if you're looking for the convenience of a mobile notary, I promise that the travel fee will be worth it.
Efficiency.
If a mobile notary’s convenience wasn’t enough, let's look at the ability to increase your efficiency. Most mobile notaries can do more than drive over and stamp your papers. A good mobile notary may offer to facilitate a split signing. Do two or more people need to sign this document, but they don’t all live together? Your notary should offer a split signing service. Your mobile notary can handle it if the other signers live or work relatively near; the appointments can be on the same day. A good notary should offer that additional service if you need documents delivered or shipped. Did you catch that? You never had to leave your home or office; look at all you managed to care for with one phone call.
Save Money on Gas.
Considering the current gas prices in the central valley of California, this benefit might jump to number one. Hiring a mobile notary will save you on gas. This seems simple, but if you think of all the places you need to go on a given day, driving to a notary’s office or ups costs you more than the service fees at these locations. Even if the Notary charges a travel fee, it will still be less expensive than driving yourself.
To-Do List Off Loading.
As mentioned, a mobile notary can provide much more than a stamp. If you find the right one, he/she can help take a load off your to-do list. Some of the service options I offer and have provided my clients include but are not limited to;
Picking up packages and mail at the post office
Shipping documents
Providing split signing services
Running documents to downtown Fresno to be certified
And more.
I became a mobile notary to create a company and service that made getting all notary services at your desired location more convenient. Please note that any other mobile notary will charge extra if you require extra services besides the notary services. However, the convenience of not having to stand in line at the UPS store or go out of your way to pick up or drop off that package, that convenience is worth it. It's like having your very own Notary Pubic- Personal Assistant. So the next time you need a notary, look for a mobile notary- and if they don’t go the extra mile, give me a call.
